Can I purchase (exchange) these rail passes in Honshu?
You can purchase (exchange) these rail passes only at the designated stations in Hokkaido.
I am traveling to Hokkaido for 8 days, can I purchase two Sapporo-Noboribetsu Area Passes?
Multiple passes may be purchased if you wish to use them on different days.
Can I ride buses with these rail passes?
The Sapporo-Noboribetsu Area Pass and Sapporo-Furano Area Pass cannot be used for buses.
What should I do if I get off at the station outside of the valid area?
You need to pay the normal basic fare and charge for the additional section at the arrival station.
e.g. If you take a reserved seat on the limited express train at Sapporo Station with the Sapporo-Noboribetsu Area Pass and get off at Hakodate Station→You need to pay the normal basic fare and charge between Noboribetsu and Hakodate (7,460yen) at Hakodate Station.
