How to Use Timetable Search
Departure and arrival time, transfer information, and travel time etc can be searched by entering the station names of the section you will use. After typing the station name in English, the applicable station names will be displayed on the drop down list. Please select the “departure station” and “arrival station” from the drop down list. Train Guide
There are no onboard sales.
No sales service is offered on all the limited express trains and in the Hokkaido Shinkansen section (Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto and Shin-Aomori) of the Hokkaido/Tohoku Shinkansen <Hayabusa> and <Hayate>. Please purchase any desired food or drinks before boarding.
When you take a limited express train
A limited express ticket/reserved seat ticket is required in addition to a basic fare ticket (or an IC card).
All seats on the Ltd. Exp. Hokuto, Ltd. Exp. Suzuran, Ltd. Exp. Ozora, and Ltd. Exp. Tokachi are reserved. For taking the train, a reserved seat limited express ticket is required in addition to a basic fare ticket (or an IC card).
